Beowulf

Beowulf, a hero of the Gauts, rushes with his companions to King Hrothgar in Denmark. He is in need of help as the man-devouring beast Grendel besieges the great hall of the Danish King Heorot and frightens and oppresses the local people. Some of them have fallen victim to Grendels hunger and have been devoured.
